 Job Purpose

  1. Responsible for driving distribution coverage across the UK Intermediaries market segment (i.e. wealth managers and advisers)
  2. Engage with key investment decision makers across top tier accounts, encompassing both existing and new clients. Focus being on discretionary investment managers
  3. Build relationships with key strategic partners across the UK Intermediaries segment (i.e. Platforms, National & Networks and Centres of Influence)
  4. Develop and execute on the broader distribution strategy for the UK Intermediaries market segment, working with various business lines

Key Accountabilities and Scope

 

Distribution Strategy

  • On an annual basis, revaluate and update the distribution strategy for the UK Intermediaries market segment (i.e. ensure barriers to access, client understanding, and messaging objectives are all addressed) 
  • Work with relevant business lines (i.e. marketing, PR, research, product strategy) to ensure that messaging is consistent across relevant market sub-segments

Sales 

  • Manage progress across relevant sub-segments against annual gross creation target for the UK region
  • Ensure that client contact expectations are met across a defined client list and develop new client relationships
  • Deepen understanding of client businesses and ensure that this understanding is fed through to relevant business lines to support the broader distribution effort
  • Match products to client needs and develop messaging with relevant business lines 
  • Pitch products to clients and gather AUM 

Strategic Partnerships

  • Focus on managing key platform and National & Networks relationships, working with relevant business lines to ensure that access to products and education is delivered

Education

  • Support the broader investor education drive across relevant UK market sub-segments (e.g. Presentations, webinars etc.) 

CRM / Client Data

  • Cleanse existing contacts and apply client tiering
  • Ensure all relevant contacts, meetings, notes and actions are entered timely and accurately
  • Record client interest and set up list/groups in CRM

Skills and Qualifications

 

Technical

  • A comprehensive understanding of the UK Intermediaries investor landscape
  • Experience of developing and executing distribution strategies for the UK Intermediaries segment
  • A structured sales process that has been applied across relevant market sub-segments
  • Depth of relationship coverage (i.e. Fund Selection, Investment Managers, Research/CIO) across UK wealth managers, with a focus on discretionary investment managers
  • A detailed understanding of client businesses and their goals/objectives (i.e. organisational structure, asset allocation, investment process, fund selection process, distribution of client assets etc.)
  • Proven business development capabilities – i.e. prospecting new clients, developing relationships and securing assets into investment products
  • Knowledge of ETPs and their relevance to wealth managers in the UK

Job Purpose

  1. Responsible to build and communicate the investment case for WisdomTree investment strategies
  2. Perform quantitative research to build asset allocation or comparative research on exchange traded products and Indexes
  3. Assist in approval of all types of WisdomTree content
  4. Develop new asset class research into ground-breaking new strategies such as AT1 Contingent Convertible bonds where WisdomTree was the first to launch a UCITs compliant access vehicle
  5. Partner with the European Sales Team to drive business growth across Wisdom Tree’s investment solutions

Key Accountabilities and Scope

  1. Liaise regularly with colleagues overseas in support of our activities in the US, Israel, Latin America and Asia Pacific
  2. Help to distinguish the Company from its competitors and build awareness, understanding and preference for our differentiated investment approach
  3. Identify appropriate opportunities for development of new content, which could be blogs, white papers, investment cases, presentations and others
  4. Perform customized research that could be inspired by new product development ideas or client questions
  5. Work with internal stakeholders to co-ordinate approval of any and all types of collateral and messaging
  6. Help to figure out how WisdomTree strategies are positioned on the competitive spectrum against active managers as well as other exchange traded products
  7. Help organize and run sales team training sessions to update the sales team on new strategies as well as market events that could help make existing strategies more attractive
  8. Speak to the media as appropriate opportunities arise in helping to craft the narrative on WisdomTree’s market views and investment strategies
  9. Speak to clients via phone and in person as a subject matter expert to help inspire understanding of WisdomTree’s approaches
  10. Make sure WisdomTree’s market views and product information are up-to-date

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum 2 years of related industry experience
  • CF30 certification a plus but not required
  • Progress toward CFA designation (or other professional designation such as CAIA or CMT) a plus but not required
  • Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • SQL or Python experience a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Mastering another European language,a strong plus but not required
  • Experience working with or analysing ESG strategies a plus but not required
  • Experience working with or analysing fixed income strategies a plus but not required

Job Purpose

  1. Drives sales and business development effort for Nordic clients, as specified by the account breakdown. Identify, grow and deepen existing relationships particularly with the key gatekeepers within the top tier accounts
  2. Engage with key contacts and sponsors at the main institutional investors, educate on existing and new products, their structure, benefits and usage, etc 
  3. Proactively seek new clients and obtain meetings with key individuals at the main institutional investors which include customer segments private wealth and banking, institutional fund managers, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies
  4. Help develop business plan encompassing research, events, PR and marketing product development

A senior full web stack developer to design and build scalable, cloud native Python web applications. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build fund pricing and trade order management web applications within Capital Markets
  • Migrate legacy .NET applications to cloud native Python/Node based services
  • Develop RESTful APIs for our commercial partners and improve automated trading, order management and data dissemination throughout the marketplace
